Monteith’s Rangiora has been part of the local community since 2006. In 2020, our family proudly took over the business with a clear vision — to create a place where great food, genuine hospitality, and community come together.

For us, Monteith’s is more than just a restaurant and bar. It’s where friends catch up, families celebrate, colleagues unwind, and visitors experience true Kiwi hospitality. Every guest is welcomed like family.

We’re passionate about serving honest, quality food made with fresh ingredients and supporting local producers wherever possible. From our award-winning steaks and signature Stonegrill experiences to classic Kiwi favourites and seasonal specials, every dish is prepared with care.

Behind the bar, you’ll find an extensive range of Monteith’s Craft Beers, premium New Zealand wines, handcrafted cocktails, and one of the region’s favourite Aperol Spritz destinations.

Community sits at the heart of everything we do. Our weekly Quiz Night has become a local favourite, along with regular events, live entertainment, and seasonal promotions that bring people together. In late 2023, we proudly expanded our family business by taking over Station Pottery Café, creating another welcoming space where coffee, creativity, and community meet.
